Front end conversion question?

I have a 94 ranger and i want to convert the front end to a 01 to 03 style.

1. Can this be done?

2. I know i need the

radiator support
fenders
hood
lights
grill

3. For the head lights in the wiring harness different from the years and what do i have to do to make it work?

If anyone that has done any front end swap that has any good advice plz help me out im trying to make a list of things and prices so my dad will give me the 1800 that came to fix my truck. he wont just give it to me.

I'm not going to need the front bumper because I'm going to build me own ARB style one in the near future.

Thanks guys

search already been explained...

edit let me sum it up...

need:

  • Header panel
  • both front fenders
  • hood
  • headlights
  • turns
  • grill
  • grill surround
  • hood latch
  • possible inner fender liners
  • bumper
  • valance
  • RADIATOR support (cutting all the spot welds and rewelding in the new support to the inner fenders )
  • tons of clips
  • new wiring harness "custom"
  • complete custom bumper brackets being the frame is 100% different and shorter

can it be done yes if you go over to RPS there is a few guys that have done it...

involves alot of parts money and tons of fabbing to get it to fit correctly... its basically a complete ***** you need like fire wall forward on the donor vehicle...

header support holds the headlights..

Radiator support holds the inner fenders and radiator its that large metal thing behind the headlights that the radiator is on and is bolted down to the frame..

OK that's what i thought i figures they were all once piece but i guess i was wrong. but this can truly be done the core support and rad support arent that big of a deal i have a welder. its the wiring that is going to be the hardest part.

i searched and i couldnt find much about going from a 93 ti 97 style front end to a 01 to 03 front end does anyone have pictures

anything is possible, just depends on how much work you want to put into it. Use the list Zach gave you, and if you have minimal welding and wiring skills, it can be done. Good luck and make sure you post some pics.

This swap is so easy. I swapped a JDM front clip into a USDM 240SX. The wiring was the hardest part.

You didn't know? A Ranger and a 240sx are the same car.
