Acetone+Paint.....

means good things. I decided I'd try something different with some 06 Emblems because I hadn't seen anybody colormatch the inserts, so I did. This is what I came up with I still need to get another one then they will be put on the truck. Let me know what you think.

LOL Shane I was thinking about doing it the reverse way. But I think this matches my front emblem better.

yeayea.....the chrome/red letters will match your truck perfectly. the chrome/deep wedgewood letters wouldn't match my truck.....i have no chrome! lol. I still think you need to find one of those front bumpers without the plastic bump moldings. It would make the truck look soooooo much better, imo.

I was thinking of maybe scratching the chrome finish off of my 2000 emblem and painting it a textured black. I'll be using the same paint on the grille, fenders, possibly the bumpers, and when I get them the grille guard and the headache rack/roll bar.

Also, I was thinking of using the same paint to do a custom highlighted paint job. Kind of like decals, but I wouldn't use decals. Whatcha guys think?
