Alternative to fiberglass fenders??
I'd love to put fiberglass fenders on this truck instead of extended flares when I get a wider/less backspaced wheel. What I don't like is the fact that they're all fiberglass. I cracked my fiberglass bed on the old flareside and have been whary about it ever since. Does anyone make raised well/flared out metal fender replacements? I've never ran across em but I know alot of you guys would know alot more about this than me. Let me know. Thanks!
I think mazda flenders are flared a bit...not sure how much, but it's a little bit.
Also check for their bedsides too!
I was thinking about it, but then again, it will be VERY expensive and outweigh itself, I'd rather get flares...I'd run prolly 40's if I did...

I don't like the mazda bedsides so much and the fenders don't line up with the stock front end very well. If I'd go through that much trouble, I might as well have some custom fenders made, lol.
I kinda like how that one dude did his. The alaskan guy who had the arb snorkel and winches mounted on the front and back. He cut the fenders at the outlines of the flares and used a flexi-flare over the edge. Then I'd have to conjure up some front fender wells. Stupid straight side beds don't even have fender wells in the back. Wtf is up with that? Another brilliant Ford innovation I guess.
