ANOTHER headlight mod convert... lol

Bought some headlights this weekend because im too much of a wuss to try it on the new, not even one rock chip on them 09 lights on my truck. Got them together now and waiting for the adhesive to dry. I think it looks pretty good so far and when i throw these on, ill pull off my corners to work on those next.

It wasnt hard to do, but it sure took a long time. Maybe im just slow.

yeah thats the plan. It looks more complete and more OEM. I am planning to leave some of the reflector chrome though and not totally black it out. Ill figure out how im gonna do once its apart.

At least i have some 04 corners sitting around so i can throw those on the truck till im done.

OR...you can play with those 04 corners...take 'em apart, mask 'em and just slap the 06+ lense on the 04 chromie thingy and have two sets of chromes to play with!

Would look better on the truck!

Yeah i get bored easily and got motivated while i was nuking a chimichanga.

BTW, there was a pair of 194 LED bulbs in the bag with the lights too. They are already in an envelope, you just want me to ship em back? kind of a far drive when shipping is probably just $3.

Oops, I looked right at those too when I took pics of the lights. You can keep them. I bought them over a year ago probably.

Finally did the corners and threw it all on. Looks good to me even though i was a little sloppy with the silicone on the corner lights. Oops. doesnt bug me much.

I put some Silverstar bulbs in too, and im not too impressed with them. I dont see much of a difference from stock as far as color or output. It could just be that my other bulbs came out of a truck with 600 miles on it too and just werent worn out.

Also took off my mudflaps and the truck is at the tint shop getting the windows done. woot!

EIther way. crap cell pics FTL!
