06+ Flares Finally!
sorry 4 the crappy cell phone pics
I finally got the 06+ fender flares in and on the truck. I hit them with a few coats of gloss black krylon fusion so the black would match my valance plus they werent as black as i wanted them and almost a greyish color but not DSG. I think they look better with my 02 bumper because the valance and flares seem 2 line up perfectly.
Install was easy. They are held on my some strong 1/4" gm push pins i got from oreilly's and some 3m tape where the body push pins were supposed to go. I was skeptical about the 3m tape at first but now after i have them on I think they could easily withstand a hard wheelin trip in the mud and water 4 sure. They are on there pretty good. at this point i dont think im going to redrill holes.
all in all i love them. some like them, some dont. I am gettin the rockers line-x'ed next saturday and hopefully rock sliders pretty soon after that so....
more and better pics to come!!!!!!!

and i think i am going 2 just keep my old flares

i mainly have the bull bar there because 1) i paid 20 bucks for it and 2) its a little added protection when offroading.
Contrary 2 how nice and clean the truck looks i do wheel alot! I just spend a good deal of time cleaning afterwards and every now and then do a good detail job. hint the sliders- I spend alot of time on the rocks and in the mud!
