color code k1 light denim blue. i cant find it any were but in a 2 oz touch up bottle. i want aerosale spray paint but i cant find it at all. any ideas

 

Most parts stores that mix paint can also do it in aerosol cans.

 

Go to an Auto Paint Supply Store.
They can take a picture of your paint and as stated above put it in rattle cans.

The Camera is designed to take three pictures, enter them in a computer, analyze the pics and come up with as close a match as can be expected.

I had my bed painted and got paint that way and no one know it isn’t the OEM color.

 

Check out PaintScratch ( http://www.paintscratch.com/ ). They offer a wide variety of custom mix paint (OEM color build means custom mix) in many different forms. Including a 12.5oz rattle can. Priced at about $25 for the base coat. Yes it's on the spendy side, but it's legit auto paint. ALOT of colors you can't get in your normal $7 auto parts store rattle can because they were only around a few years. Your color is one of them...my color is one of them too.

Something to keep in mind is you may want to order your clear from them too that way they don't fight each other and react on whatever you're painting.


Another option is finding a local auto body/paint shop supplier. They'll be able to custom mix the paint for you based off the OEM specs and paint code as well.


Yet another option would be to have a half-pint or a pint mixed up for you and use this reuseable sprayer. I chose this route on painting my emblems because it ended up cheaper in the end over using a custom mix rattle can. But it did require use of mixing in a reducer(which I already had). Ready to use right out of the box just like any other rattle can, rattle can is the way to go.

 

I've never seen one of those reusable sprayers... did it work pretty decent?

Worked pretty decent. The fan spray is typical of a rattle can (round pattern). Sprays a little differently and I want to say it actually sprays out more material than a typical rattle can. Took some getting used to but it did good for what I used it for.
