I don't know the technical name....but if you go to the ford dealership, describe it to the parts counter, they'll get it ordered up. only about $20 per side and it's an easy replacement part.

To install, you must remove the door panel to remove the mirror, then remove that molding(just pull up), push on your new one, get it lined up to the back of the window area, install mirror, install door panel. DONE!

Is that metal underneath it or is it all rubber? My girlfriends looks just like yours did, I wonder where I can order new ones for her Sentra.

It's thin sheetmetal with that rubbery vinyly coating on it.

Part numbers shown are for my '01. Should be the same for '01+, but older models, no clue.

^OUTCH! I know mine are slightly different than yours...but I wonder if they bumped the price like they did the torsion bars?

Just tried looking these up on newfordparts.com and I can find the first one, but I can't find the one below.. does anyone know if they changed numbers on these?

I need to order both of them.

Not going to order from LMC because they want 60+ bucks for them..

Thanks,
-Nigel

I pulled those off my daughters truck recently. I peeled the dried out rubber, lightly sanded and sprayed them with satin black spray bomb. They look fine now.
