can u take off the stock fenderflares

can u take off the stock fenderflares on a 99......i was just woundering

If they are like the 01 flares, then yes. But it'll leave a bunch of little tiny holes in your fender.

they should have some clips inside the fender... you will have lots of holes from the clips if you remove them though

There are small plug/clip things along the inside of the fender too. You've got to pull those and find a way to get the clips off also.

any fender flare reguardless will have the holes in the fender. its 10 in the back and 7 in the front for the 01-03. im not 100% possitive for the rest.

bondo/paint, or just get some plastic plugs and push them in, bout all u can do that comes to mind.

pop some pop rivets that are big enough in them, make sure theyre alum tho, dont want them to rust.

pop rivets would look pretty cool thanx.
might wait till after christmas though and hang some orniments from them!

yea man, one of mine fell off the other day, tree ripped it off, saw the holes and started thinking, what could be done with the holes, my answer for a lot of things are rivets. if something falls off my trucks, its either reattached by rivets, zip-ties, or epoxy. haha, favorite being rivets just because of the looks. I think rivets would like really good in the holes to.
