Ok so im painting my bezel and ive done everything prep wise that everyone has said. I've sanded this ****er for probably 3 hours yesterday and about 2 today and when i paint it with adhesive promotor and paint, cracks appear. These cracks arent there when its the bare plastic but when i spray over them they appear! Its pissing me off because it makes it look like ****. Ive tried sanding these cracks with different types of sand paper and nothing works. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

try using some primer first to fill the cracks then sand it and paint it.

 

I think its they kind of paint your using, I bet if you use Krylon fusion, or prime it 1st then sand and paint it will probably stop

it was the adhesive promotor that was doing it...

 

yea i agree with the primer comment...that should work

 

when it happened with me it was tiny sections of the rubber still on the bezel.
