Holy Cracks Batman!

figured out why my truck wasn't able to get allined and why one tire tilted inward when i backed up...cracked the cross member where my axle bracket connected to it...this sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!1

dunno think its been that way for awhile and just been getting worse over time...havn't gone wheeling in a while.

I got a friend looking at it tonight hope we can fix it our selves same some big $$$$$$$$$$$, but the upside of all this is once its fixed, Im beefing it up so its stronger and i know thats not going to be the weak spot anymore.

the other things is see where the bracket only connects on one bolt on one side...i think i am going to weld another bracket to connect to another bolt or all of them so it evens the load to other bolts and not just one. the picture with my finger shows where im talking about best.

It leaks a very small amount...never leave a drop on the pav, I just never clean it off from under there when i do an oil change. Probly should, maybe i will next time....We are going to give it a try next weekend...when we get off the old bracket we are taking the one side that bolts to all 5 bolts and mounting that on the other side so the bracket connects on all 5 bolts on both side and not just one on one side...thats how i think it broke was where the bracket connects only on one bolt.

So far with the help of my friend...the only cost is the brackets and they are $225...oh and beer...lots of it too haha!
