Roll Bar Question

Found a roll bar from an F150 for $25.00. Single hoop with down bars into the bed. Has anyone ever modified one of these to fit a Ranger? Mine is an 08 Ranger by the way.

i've done it before

my roll bar was for a Dakota.....now its in the ranger

i chopped about 3 inches out of the middle and welded it back together

fit just fine with minor fab work at the base....helps to have a welder and sawz-all

i can get pics if you want

Yeah you can do it. But make sure you grind it down really good so it doesn't look like crap.

You welded it into your bed?? Hope you never plan on taking it out. I wouldn't recommend welding it into the bed. I would use bolts.

If I get the F150 bar and cut it, I will bolt it in as well.
