Compatibility Question

Will any 2004 - 2005 grille work with the Carriage Works billet grilles? Some one posted about Rockauto and I went on there to check for grilles and they do sell what I'm looking for its just that they have generic descriptions for everything and you don't know E.X.A.C.T.L.Y. what you're getting.

Any '04/'05 grill shell will work-you just have to remove the (usually) grey center portion and drill a few holes. You probably won't get the center portion out without breaking some of the tabs on it. You're getting a great product with the Carriage Works insert.

Thanks Mike. It looks like I will have to paint the surround based on the description but I hope that won't be to hard as in it turns out ok. As for the billet, do you know somewhere to get one cheaper. I'm going for the black billet but I'm up here in Canada and they charge you an arm and a leg.

I bought mine like 6 years ago-I don't remember who i ordered it from. Did you try places like AutoAnything.com or Summit Racing?

I just looked on summit and they are 170. I'm just kind of scared of the duty charges into Canada haha. Shipping is criminal. They want almost double that if you buy it from a shop here like performancer improvements of national 4wd.
