DSG = Dark Shadow Gray metallic, a factory Ranger color from 2004~2010.

I want them. Hat were the tempatures for baking your corners and head lights I might tackle mine here in the near future. Sort of a how to if you will.

Corners were done with a heat gun. Held the gun on them for about 2 minutes and they fell right apart. Headlights were in the oven on 215* for 15 minutes. Headlights will vary from oven to oven though.

Yeah they look good. Hopefully modding mine here soon. So does this change light output at all? Also what brand of paint did you use and how well does it stay on that chrome?

As long as you dont paint the reflector you are good, no output changed.

sweet. Hey ben, seriously i could have driven up to pick up the corners. I just thought about it and it really isnt that bad a drive. oh well.

I used Krylon Fusion Hammered Silver paint. And my light output is dimmed a little because I painted the reflector.

Hey can somebody hit me with a link? I searched for the headlight mod, and i was going to do the corners as well, but i couldnt find anything (its probably right under my nose)

bump. Hey guys if i am going to black out some 04 amber corners, should i black out the whole thing, or leave the reflective part chrome. I just modded some clear corners, and wanted to do my ambers.

I painted the reflector on my 06's. I didn't feel like taking the time to tape it up. I'm pretty happy with the looks of it though. If I had to do over I would paint them the same way.

Not the greatest output but honestly, what does the output of that light matter anyways? It doesn't do anything.

well, ill just mask the middle, paint, then if i dont like the way it looks...ill paint the middle too hehe
