couple of questions

sorry if there are threads about this already, I tried the search function but I suck at how to word my searches correctly.

1st question:
will a 04-05 grill fit my 99 ranger ?

2nd question:
I have at least a 1 inch gap between the bottom of my headlamp panel and the top of my bumper, is that normal ? (Ive pushed the bumper up as far as it will go using both my hands or a car jack on both sides and my hands)

The grille will fit if you do a front end swap. Front end swap consists of header panel swap, headlight swap, hood swap, grille swap, and I'm sure there is other things. So to answer your question, if you want to do a complete front end swap, yes it will fit. But if you just want to pick up the grille and pop it in? No it will not fit. 2nd question, there's four bolts behind the bumper that if you loosen up you can adjust the bumper. I have my bumper gap set at exactly and inch all the way around and I like the looks of it. That's just me though. If you loosen those bolts then readjust it and retighten the bolts then you may get a smaller gap.

1. Not without swapping the header panel, headlights and hood (plus all the little stuff like screws and bolts)

2. Yes thats normal. You can search bumper mod on here if you want to lessen the gap.

thanks guys, I know about those bolts as I replaced the original bumper, I just didnt know if that was normal :)
I like how low it is but hate that gap. I think Im going to make something to fit in there. I have access to an aluminum shop so I will most likely make a panel the goes across to cover that area up.
Ill post pics if I do so.

Im not really interested in replacing the entire front end, I just like an 04 grill I saw and thought it would look perfect on my truck.
although, I can get an entire front end from a local JY for about $100.0... maybe I'll give it some more thought.
