im new to rangers and trying to see if i can put another bed on my 94 ranger. ive read that the tailights are the same but again im new to these

 

Rangers only had 3 beds, 7ft was called the long bed, only came on regular cabs, axle was relocated for Long Beds so can't be swapped to 6ft bed Ranger

6ft bed came on regular or extended cabs
Style side or step side was 6ft, can be swapped with any 6ft or visa versa

Obviously body lines changed over the years
1983 to 1992 was 1st Generation ranger
1993 to 1997 was 2nd Generation
1998 and up 3rd Gen

2nd and 3rd Gen beds are the same
1st gen will fit but narrower body

Your 1994 Ranger could use any bed from 1993 to 2012, assuming 6ft

Yes taillights fit from any year but wiring was different, 2 bulb and 3 bulb tail lights

Front end Body parts will be generation specific for the most part.

And some are different within a generation, i.e. hood was same for 1993-1997, changed in 1998 to 2003 then changed again in 2004
Rad support changed a few times, '93/'94, '95-'97, '98-'12
