Is there different valances for the rangers????? like is there one for the rangers with flares and one with out flares????????????? cause i am taking mine off and i ordered new fenders and goin to shave the holes on the bed..

the only difference is the ones from the Edge and all other models......the Edge vailance is smooth so it can be painted and the others are textured

I thought the xl's had valances and bumpers that were different and did not line up with the flares. The valance doesn't curve up at the edge and turn into the flare.

 

xl and xlt 2wd dotn have the lip at the very end of them...but they dont connect...so no worries...

ok well those r 04 i was talking about 01-03 and if the valances r different i will sell mine... so would i need to buy a bumper and valance????

 

the differences are the same on the 01-03, except the xl and xlt 2wd have some depressions in the valance...

 

why in hell would you want to sell it? all edges with flare side bed with no fender flares have the exact same valance you do...

 

cause some people dont like that the bumper sticks out past the fender. dont matter if they came stock that way or not.

 

it does not stick out that far at all....

see mine same as any FX4, EDGE, etc with flares.

 

idk there is just so man like that it just seems completely normal to me now and i wouldnt ever want to down grade to the 2wd bumper/valance with no fogs plus not color matched like edge's are...

 

my EDGE was that way too. i didnt like it at first. eventually i jus stopped noticing it, but i remember when i didnt like it at all.

 

maybe that is my problem as well, people used to point it out but it does not bother me at all and im pretty picky about stuff lining up.

 

ok zach u have an xlt bumper and valance now..... and i am just like u when it come to lining up things and i like all that stuff matching up and i am goin to take a pic tomorrow of how much it sticks out.....

 

he has a XLT 4x4 CHROME bumper which is 100000% the same as the EDGE bumper just CHROME instead of painted. and that is still his EDGE valance...

if yours sticks out more then that you have something bent...

if you decide to sell your vailance, fog lights, and mounting brackets let me know......i am VERY interested.....

i really don't need the thing....i wish someone would take away my bumper posting abilities........i have too many projects going to add another 1......

i was gunna buy it and maybe flip it if the price was right....
