Dixon Bros Racing Prerunner bumper...
I am interested in this bumper, maybe in the summer when it's warm enough here to mess around taking off the stock bumper and junk. I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with it or know if it is strong and durable. Right now I have a Westin grille guard which I would sell to one of my friends with rangers to put money towards this one. I'd like to know if it is rediculous strong, it looks like it is, and it replaces the stock bumper so it must be decent stong, and it bolts to the frame in a few spots. I love the prerunner look and don't want my front valence on, which will work out well, and my fog lights keep dying because I go a little wild with my ranger sometimes, like when I tow my friends around in his farm field with them on the back on an inner tube in the snow.
Any info is appreciated. I'll check dezertrangers, i'm sure they have more info.
They also will powdercoat it in any color, I'm thinking of a white/cream color.

SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE POST, I MUST HAVE HIT NEW POST INSTEAD OF EDIT

You guys are kidding right? These bumpers are very strong. They are made to be able to hit other trucks in the desert, also known as a "nerf", to tell them you are there. I have hit all kinds of junk with my bumpers. Shoot look at Trents bumper, it held up pretty good when he was in that accident, better than I'v seen stock bumpers.

I did think of making my own, I don't have a welder but sort of have access to a mig, but don't have a pipe bender. I figure by the time I get all the metal, have some pipe bent, and get it powdercoated it would be better and cheaper to just buy the Dixon one.
I imagine the Dixon one is decent strong, it looks it but would be hard to tell without seeing it in person.
I actually just got back in from taking off my grille guard and valence. My valence kept ripping on the sides and looks like ****. I did zip tie it up but the rips are still visible and I like the look without the valence. I have a t-bar crank so the front bumper is fairly high and looks mean. I'll get some pics up soon.
