do-it-yourself liner

Canadian Tire has bottles of spray on liner on right now for about $10 per bottle. It's just like using spray paint. I want to do my box and have it only cost me $60 or so instead of getting it professional for a couple hundred. what do you guys recommend? sand or wire brush, and should I prime?

i'd use an orbital sander, the better you prep, the longer it may last

its crap, other than for touch up and spraying minor areas ts worthless. i used it on my tailgate and it doesnt work. a real roll on liner or true spray in are the only ones that work
