What were the stock paint colors for the Edge model for years 2001 - 2003? I know when I bought my Splash years ago and my wife's Escape more recently, different model patterns had limited availability on paint colors.

I am looking to buy one of those powerdome hoods and would like to know if they made the Edge in Toreador Red, or if I will have to find one and have it painted.

Don't know about the edge, but XLT and Fx4s came in toredor red.

The colors that came on the edge in 2001-2002 are black, bright island blue, bright red, chrome yellow, and oxford white. In 2003 they added sonic blue inplace of the bright island blue. The Toreador Red came on the XLT models those years. So to answer your question, you will need to find a hood off of an edge and have it painted.

 

He could also try to find a 4x4 XLT hood in Toreador red. 4x4's have the same powerdome hood as the Edge.
