Paint Color Decision Help

Just about to become a proud owner of a '97 XLT Supercab to use as a secondary, more practical vehicle--got a deal that I couldn't pass up.

However, I'm not really happy with the color. I believe its the Cayman Metallic Green paint, but it might be the Medium Willow Metallic Green (who comes up with these color names?!?!). The body is in pretty good shape, but the color is kinda wimpy. If it was more a true green, lighter or darker, I'd be fine.

So, I'm thinking about investing in a paint job, but unsure about color choices.
The interior is grey (graphite).

Should I go for one of the other stock colors, or something else entirely? I tend to prefer darker colors on an unmodded Ranger. For repainting, do certain colors last better than others? I'm heading towards a nice black, but can't decide.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Rich

I'm a fan of black but I'm biased. My other choice would be Deep Wedgewood Blue. I also like dark hunter green type but not sure of the Ford equivalent. Yes you have to use Ford paint. If you don't the Earth falls out of orbit and we die very sucky deaths...

Just don't do Sonic Blue. It's a great, don't get me wrong but everyone and their mother has it.

Black would go well with the graphite interior

I'd say either the hunter green or dark shadow gray, though i'm kinda biased on the gray.

Thanx, everyone. Now I have even more options to consider! But the pearlescent gray and metallic black sounds sweet.

Now I just have to save up $3K to get it done....

Black looks nice when clean, but it is a ***** to take care of. Everything shows up and it looks dirty again within a week. I'd go with a metallic grey or metallic blue.
