Its been sitting for almost a year now, so for christmas I got it painted. This picture is in the dark, right after it was put on. Its needs to be cleaned also. I'll try to get some better pictures later. I would like to get the back part of the nostrils painted black, but other than that what do you guys think?

I didn't know the Cobra hood would fit. That's pretty cool.

 

Not bad, i would paint the inside of the nostrils black and put billet to cover that..

 

its and after market hood meant from rangers/mazda this is similar to a cobra hood it isn't a really cobra hood of a mustang...

 

that makes more sense.

 

ya, like I said in my original post I plan to paint the inside of the nostrils black. I'm pretty happy with it otherwise.

I will get some more pictures tomorrow. Not sure what else I want to do to the truck, definately not going to lower it, thats not what I got a 4x4 for.

not bad. that sucks you have a 2006 mazda and it looks still like a 96 mazda man i would be PISSED.. one good thing they stoped that stupid black thing around the side windows..

they look nothing alike, they changed the front end in 98, and slightly redesigned them in 01

 

yea, my 03 mazda had that black around the windows, I'm glad this one doesnt. I went to the body shop that painted the hood and they are going to paint the nostrils black for free in the morning. I also get my borla muffler put on tomorrow.

Ummm... Mind posting about the place you got it from or is it custom??

 

I got it from ramairhood.com in May, I dont see it on their site anymore tho. I got the hood on sale for $520

 

got the inside of the nostrils painted black today, definately looks better now.

 

That looks much better! if you can find the funds, I'd also colormatch the front Valence and the Grille ( at leas the surround leave the one black bar solid)
