I was just wondering, how much do roll bar's usually weigh?? and does it affect the performance any? such as power, speed due to the increase of weight in the back of the truck. thanks.

 

My rollbar is a double single. Two vertical bars behind the cab, with the single "kickers" connected to the top of the wheel wells. The bar weighs about 150 pounds, and I forget it's back there sometimes. The weight really makes no difference to the truck, if I cared about weight, I would lose some...

i can't even feel my back there either i am not sure how much it weighs though. i only have a single but it goes all the way back to the tailgate

i really can't feel a difference with it back there. i bought mine used for $300

 

I bought mine beat up and used for $50.
Grinded it down, and painted it flat black for another $20

$70 plus 16 hours labor(grinding, welding, primering, painting, installing, touch ups after installing)
