I've been putting thought into upgrading my front end of my 2001 ford ranger XLT...

I'd like to put the FX4 bumper/valance on it but was curious what sort of mods i'd need to do, or parts i'd have to get to allow the bumper to be installed on my truck.

just need the 4x4 bumper w/ valence and fogs. the FX4 level II one is trimmed for tow hooks.

 

What bumper does your XLT have? Does it already have factory fogs? If you have fog lights from the factory, you only need the Level II valance and tow hooks. If you don't have fogs, you'll need the bumper that goes w/ the fog light valances, the fog lights, and the Level II tow hooks. The regular FX4 valance is the same as the XLT models w/ fog lights. XLT's w/o fogs have bumpers that the chromed metal extends all the way to the wheel wells, while the fog light valances cover the ends of the bumper.
