front grill

hey what do you have to unbolt to get the front center grill off

pretty sure that piece the grill is on that goes underneath the headlights has to come off with it

That would be the easiest way to get at the screws holding on the grill

you do have to remove the whole piece which holds the grill on. using a 5.5mm wrench remove the bolts under your hood to remove it then pull back the whole piece and using a flat head screw driver pop the clips on the back to remove that whole piece.

If your wanting to remove the honeycomb part it snaps into the surround deal. Be careful they break easy

Get your grille surround off first. Then on your tailgate with a blanket, carefully take two tiny flat head screw drivers and your hand and pry the honeycomb off the surroud. It's that that special touch of carefully forcefulness. My truck has one of those clips broke...and i've removed the center grille a good 4 times before on my truck and other peoples trucks.



quick question: you've got what appears to be my dream truck: DSG 01-03 EDGE! What gives? full paint job or....?
