the black on my front grill hasn't faded like on most rangers but I was contemplating changing my front grille to a 2004 or 2005 grille... the ones with the chrome surrounding the grill. can this be done easily or is this not worth it? i notice that my 2003 has that bottom chrome part attached to the actual grille and the 04-05's are a little different in not having that. thoughts or anybody ever done this?

 

You will have to cut your hood. They changed the body style a little and how the hood meets the grille.

Why not just paint the faded black areas with fresh paint?

 

Or you could pick-up another hood from a junkyard and modify it to fit with the '04+ grille. This is what I'm going to try to do so I can put a "real" PowerDome on my '04.
