front reciever hitch

front reciever hitch

in theory, a rear tow hitch reciever could also be used as a front one as well, right? does anyone else get that assumption?

I think you have to buy a receiver made for the front end. Don't quote me on that though.

rear doesnt work on the front,
its totally different

they make one, one u can make ur own like i did.

but i was thinking... the frame in the back better be the same width yada yada yada... maybe id just have to drill the holes. and/or weld it on

the rear hitch bolts up to the factory frame holes.......i dont think that the front has exactly the same pattern

well ya, it prob would weld on, but im pretty sure it will be way low to the ground under the valance.

well, the this is, something happened to my valance, and its not there anymore. so with it out of the way, who knows... i think one night this week when i dont have overtime im gonna just run back and measure the rear hitch. unless i find a front hitch online thats not any more $ than a rear. some things are funny that way

Doesn't the hidden hitch one come out the hole in the valence too? Not real low like the reese

defin getting a front one now, so eventually i can get a reciever-mounted winch setup "someday"

ps-hey evan (or anyone) is that linked hidden hitch that you posted for the ranger? or is that just the style you liked?
