Hey guys!!! Im looking for a 2" hitch that has a shackle on it that is sold in Canada, preferably local in Edmonton area. I looked at a few local spots like Canadian Tire and a few auto parts stores but couldn't find one. I thought about getting one from the US but shipping would have been about $50 for a $40 part!!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

honestly though, i wanted something like this and just got the receiver kit from princess auto. it was on sale for $24 and came with a lock, receiver and 2" ball. i took the ball off and just threw a shackle on there. works the same and can be swapped out if i need to tow.

Just go to any 4x4 shop or Princess Auto they will have what you need.

 

There is a Princess Auto across the city from me. I looked online and called that store and they only had solid tow rings.

plus a way to get the 2" ball off
=all you need.
it gives you a towing receiver, extraction point and lock. if you just get the solid ring, all you get is one thing that can't tow a trailer.

yea, shipping gets us. more so the brokerage fees. if it's coming form the states, i just save me time money and headache and ship it to the states and go get it.
