Interesting tails

I had just posted about how I thought these tail lights were really cool then I read that they don't work with xlt, stepside, splashside models. What would cause them not to fit correctly? Is this just the seller covering his ***?

cant see why they wouldnt fit xlt.. but many aftermarket lights are to deep for the stepside/splash bed

just so you know, those tails are hard to see at some times of day, the red color lenses are the better pair, IMO, safety 1st...

yea I was seeing why they wouldn't fit for a flareside or step side but is an XLT limited in space? I would think the opposite.

i have the same style tails (there just euro clears) on my 04 edge stepside they will fit with a little trimming to the bed. i also had to trim the unthreaded part of the bolt that holds the upper end of the tailgate cable off.

They will fit even a stepside. I have regular style bed tail lights on my truck and they fit fine with no modifications.

i hate the look of the red and or orange on the lights, the tails are the only color that is still on the truck besides silver and black. the pic in my display is old.

I agree, aftermarket tails make your truck look cheap. The new 06 tails are the best I'v seen for a ranger.
