Could somebody take some measurements of the location of their FX4 bed decals.
Thanks

I am not 100% sure on this but I think that the oem stickers will have points on the paper backing to line the sticker up in the correct place. your post dosen't say what you are wanting to do so I hope that this helps.

Just ran out and got some quick measurements for you. I measured from the outside edge of the sticker itself. The measurements to the tails are from the edge of the sticker at the letter "O" on the right side and the "D" on the left side.

It's not always that easy... he may not have had any in the first place or he could be replacing a different style and sized decal.

imo, and i don't want to sound like a dick, but if he didn't have them to begin with, they shouldn't be going on now...period...

replacing with different style/size ok...

I don't see any problem with it... it's his truck. It's a 4x4 and the sticker says FX4. It's no different than putting an STX grill on an FX4 truck. I have Cobra bumper covers on a GT Mustang. It still is what it is, as long as the owner likes it.

putting different parts on different vehicles is one thing... calling something, something it's not, is another... i'm not going to call my truck a sport or stx... (both models of where my grill is from)

badging is an identifier... it would be like getting an old honda cb750 or something, and putting harley badging on it... or lincolin badging on a toyota corola... it's not what you are trying to pass it off to be...

i realize it's his truck, i'm just giving my opinion on it, and hoping that he takes it into consideration... obviously there is nothing i can do to change it...

In a way I agree, but it's also still just a 4x4 sticker.

Thanks, Fullscale--that's exactly what I was looking for.

DUDE-RELAX-I was just looking for some information-that's what is great about this site-not looking to get slammed for wanting to do something to MY truck. These are some custom decals that I had made in preparation for the Fox coil-over swap that's coming.

why didn't you mention that you had custom decals?

you kinda left it open, just saying fx4 decals, because the 4x4 decals on some years are in the same place...

like i said man, i realize it's your truck, i just wanted to urge you to see it from my side...

No problem, when are you going to post up pics of said decals? I'm interested to see what they look like!

Not totally custom, but customized mildly by me. Real subtle, which is how I try to do things on my truck. People don't usually notice there's something different right away, which I kinda like. I'm going to try to get them on this weekend, but weatherman is talking about SNOW! I'll get some pics up.
Thanks

As I mentioned in the other thread, looks great! Hope the measurements helped. Is there a meaning for the Level 3?

Wating on the Fox Coilovers (Torsion Bar Delete). Then they will probably be more appropriate.
