I wasn't sure if the chrome grill made the difference but the black textured grill that was on the truck when I bought it really made the gray of radiator support stand out. The black bug net did the trick

i cut it for my tow hooks but i ripped them off when i went to switch to the 01-03 bumper and since it didnt fit correctly i haven't bothered to put them back on. i have a new one downstairs that will go on when i throw my front hitch on so those slits won't be there anymore come spring time.

i think im going to bake another set of lights this friday and mod them since i have nothing to do that day (yet) lol

I LOVE the baked lights. what's the recipe? haha what do you do? I don't recall seeing any write ups earlier in the thread. Well, sorry, I saw you tape them but maybe I missed what you do.

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees
throw the lights on a rack 3/4 of the way down in the oven
let them bake for 15 minutes
take them out and use a flat head to split them, put the screwdriver head between the housing and the lens and work your way around turning the screwdriver clock wise
tape
paint
seal

Oh I thought baking it made it turn. So baking it just warms it up to split them apart. What paint do you use?

Of topic, you should paint you header panel behind your grille black. The red sticks out like a sore thumb.
