got some carbon fiber :-)

CF sim. overlays

used a hairdryer this time and it helped out alot! I think it looks better that what was their originally... see about 2 weeks ago I noticed a lil chip on the front emblem from where a nice rock hit it, well after driving around with it like that for a week the clear started separating giving it a light blue color, so this was a nice alternative...

I think it looks great! i see the little creases, but those might go away with age, no? im sure after a while of getting hot and cold over and over, it might smooth out.

It's not tacky at all, it's suttle. Doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and blends in if ya ask me

I think if you can get the crease to go away it would look a lot better. Right now it looks tacky tho, kind of like those stick on chrome vents.

yeah its really buggin the crap out of me... I used a hair dryer, soapy water, and went by the book... no matter what they just don't wanna work... those creases only show up on the chrome part for some reason, I think it's b/c its thinner there... I'm looking at what some of the guys over on F150online do with the 05+ emblems, they suggest acetone then so their all chrome what do you guys think? leave it CF or acetone em'???

I did that but its like the adhesive got too hot and those places wont stick... can I still fix this thing? I'm thinking about a small bottle of waterproof adhesive about the size of nail polish...
