John,

This is probably not an appropiate place to talk about this but nonetheless, I guess you will need to send the grille back, I haven't cashed the cashier check yet so we are all good. I'm sorry this did not fit but I am unable to view all those videos you sent via email. Please keep this to a PM

Thanks,
Andrew

Will a grille from an 05 edge fit on a 2007 xlt?? I thought it should bolt right on

Thanks Trent, I would like this to be closed but I want John to see it so he knows the grille will fit

Okay that's what I thought just making sure guys! Would John need the grille surround to make it work? I'm referring to the colormatched piece surrounding the grille

Hmm okay well I have to leave that up to him if he really does want the honey comb grille, is there any specific place he could go get the surrounding grille piece other than a pull-apart yard? Any information would benefit John and I.

Thanks,
Andrew

Certifit sells the entire grill for 30 bucks. Other than that just Ford and junkyard.

Oh, now its clear. the surround (thats what its called) I didn't have that with that lame stock textured grill that came on the truck, the chrome one is an exact copy (Ford part) of the stock grill and used the same 4 screws and the two pins at the bottom. I guess Ford saved a few pennies by getting rid of the painted to match surround.
Thanks , to all those who were involved....
Sorry for the head ache everyone....
