I bit the bullet and ordered a 2007 Ranger XLT 4x4. I'm planning to change the grille. Anyone know if the XLT grille from a 2005 will fit ? It looks like it will from the pictures I can find but I'd like to know for sure.

 

I don't think anyone has a 2007 yet so no clue.

 

Neither do I, technically. 6 - 8 weeks is what they told me for delivery. I looked at the pics on Ford's website and just can't warm up to the huge, horizontal bar grille. My 05 XLT has the "nostril" grille and if it will swap, I'll order it from Ford. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to wait and see what comes from the aftermarket.

 

I'm almost certain that grills from '04-'07 will interchange...

 

i have a 99 and i also want to do that to my truck since im doing custom bumpers to the ranger

 

i agree, im pretty sure it will change over.

 

You'll need an 04+ hood, radiator support, and headlights to go with the new grille. You can reuse your 99 bumper but it might look strange.

 

Probably need a new header panel and such too for the 99.

I'm pretty sure the 04-07 grills are interchangable also.

 

what color truck did you get? i maybe be interested in a trade
