any ideas for a black grille for a 2006 fx4??? will the black one form carrige works thats for a 2005 work on mine? Thanks guys!

 

Yes it will, but a grille off of the 06 STX would look very very nice on there.

Unsure as to if it'll work on his current grille.

You might need to get a 04-05 EDGE grille and replace the inner grille with the billet...but i have no clue. I havn't seen anybody do that mod to a 06+ grille yet.

 

He has a 06 how would that not fit?

 

04-05 billet placed into a 06+ grille? I havn't seen it yet. Have you? lol. For some reason...i smell massive ownage of shane soon....

 

I know the 06 and possibly 07 all have a solid grille whereas the 04-05 is a two piece where you keep the grille surround and can just take out the plastic inner and toss in a billet. So the 06 would have to get a whole new surround to get the billet or STX style.

Do you have a pic of your current grille so we can see which one you are working with?

 

Oh I misunderstood what you said. I meant that he can bolt up a entire 04-05 grille surround, not just the billet insert.
