Hey guys,

I'm getting my 2004 Ranger painted Harvest Gold, and I'm thinking about going with a two tone paint job. Basically I'm painting the bottom part black like the FX4. Is there anyone else on here that has a black and gold Ranger? I'd like to get an ideal of what it would look like. I would also like to get some pics of some Rangers that have the 2001-2003 Powerdome hood and the 2004 + hoods where the raised part is painted a different color.
Does anyone think I should just paint it all gold?

i'd do only one colour. i don't think those two would go well together. i could see the gold with a darker brown or a dark colour with silver.

I don't think it would look awful. Definitely different. I think all gold.. or the burnt orange or whatever color that was on some of the 98-00 rangers would be best.

Can someone do a photoshop black and gold picture for me?

 

FX4s use DSG for there two-tone, not black. Gold and DSG would be iffy. I would do all gold or go Super Duty Lariat style and do gold/tan on the bottom and a primary color up top.

 

I thinking about painting it Sonic Blue instead of Harvest Gold. What do yall think about that?

I don't know what the color is called but its like a dark gloss olive green. Looks pretty sweet. Or like a desert sand color with everything else black (fenders, mirrors, rims, ect.)

Ok, I'm really torn between Sonic Blue or Vista Blue.

How can I take a vote on here?

I like both colors, but I'm leaning more towards Sonic Blue because it's a darker color.

Ok, I've made my decision ... It's gonna be Vista Blue.
I really like Sonic Blue, but it looks kinda purple sometimes when the light hits it a certain way.

 

So? it looks damn good. Vista blue is a nice color too though. Either is a good choice, but I love SB way more.

 

Yeah, I think Sonic Blue looks damn good too. It came in at a very close 2nd.
