1).are the headlights off of and 01-03 ranger the same as the edge headlights.
2). will the headlights and grille from an 01-03 and an edge interchange on the same header panel. or does the edge header panel have to have the edge headlights and grille. same for the 01-03 will the 01-03 header panel have to have 01-03 heads and grille?

 

01-07 Ranger Headlights are all the same...

The XLs and XLTs (2wd) are different from the EDGEs and XLTs (4x4). The 4x4 XLT has a chrome bumper and a textured valance. The EDGE has a painted bumper and painted valance.

The EDGE and 4x4 XLTs' front end parts are interchangeable, so I'm assuming the header panel will be too, maybe someone that's done the conversion will chime in with more info.

 

ALL '01-03s have the same header panel. I've put my brothers 2wd XL ranger grille on my xlt 4x4/EDGE. And mine on his. All '01-03, well, '01-07 rangers ave the same headlites. '01-05 have same corner lites. '06+ have different ones, but all 01-07 corners are interchangable. 04 is when the new header panel was put on and new grilles and such.

Basically....ALL '01-03 front end stuff are interchangable.....Except upper and lower bumpers on different models.....EDGE vs. 2wd XLT.
