Is the color for the Lens on the inside, or outside? It looks too red still.
It looks like a lightly tinted taillight.

I know that, but would it be possible to diffuse some of the red from the inside by say
Sanding it down a bit?

Probably. I'm not going into that though haha. It was hard enough to push myself to bake the light 5 minutes after coming home from buying them

Haha. Couldn't have just waited till you had your own truck.
but no.. Pedro has to do them NOW!
lol.
I think it looks decent, but like i said, if it we're me, i'd be sanding some of that red off a bit.

come to think of it, if you sanded it, it would turn into a faded whitish-pink color. the lens is dyed so the whole thing is red in that spot.

really. I thought it would have been like the emblem deal, where only the back is painted, and the rest is clear coated.

that wont be happening till summer so you can either make your own or wait lol

and you can't really tell much in a picture but holding them both its a pretty big difference

I'm thinking of doing this mod and then applying a light tint using the film Korey used on his tails and headlights

I think that stuff fell off of his lights but I'm not sure. that would probably be really cool tho. I have window tint somewhere but its 20 so its way too dark to just mess around with it

Edit: it hasn't fallen off. he says "it looks all shitty now"
