I'll be testing the one i have done on a members truck once i go to his place to test something else i'm waiting on too. I'll update with a picture of it on his truck once i get down there.

Throw the console in while you're at it haha.

lol no hes got a shorty console from an edge/explorer sport/level 2 in his truck already or else i would ask haha

same mod done to the older taillights. The only thing i did different was I painted everything black lol. anyways, i figure its semi- relevant

phone pics. i should of brought my camera. some of the pics look like they're cracked and stuff but its whatevers behind me on the house reflecting. guess my phone doesn't like bright conditions to take a pic lol

thanks to scrambler82 for letting me test fit the light as well as my Aeroforce Technology gauge!

Really makes the truck look brighter.
Or it could be the truck needs to be washed.

lol yeah. I think it might be getting claybar treatment soon after he saw my car. The truck wasn't that dirty tho.

Looks great, it seems like the black would stand out more, but that may be because its a red truck

yeah and the sun was beaming on it lol it was almost 70 today randomly. back to the 40s tomorrow

It looks like I'm going to have to buy another set of '06 tail lights to try this. I think it looks great! Nice gauge, too!

I'm thinking that I'll buy an aftermarket set and do it. I searched and searched for an affordable pair of original Ford ones, and finally got them. I would hate to risk ruination by trying to heat them and pull them apart.

Also, what is "kewn"? I've been seeing that for a while now.

theres a set of ford ones for 50 on craigslist right now but the aftermarket ones from certifit are the same just different name. got my headlights from them too which i still need to mod. i like doing them myself instead of buying the ebay ones lol

I found a set of aftermarket ones on eBay that were cheap because they had a slight surface cracks. It's definitely on my list of things to do.

I know a guy who used to work for my old man who buys and sells OEM headlights and taillights on Ebay. He buys them from body shops and everything and cleans them up. I've sold a few to him before.
