no installed pics till i install them tomorrow. i have to let the sealer cure overnight inside since its so cold out.
baking the lights heats up the (hellish) factory ford adhesive/sealant that holds the light together. IF you dont bake them, you'll never get them apart without breaking them. When it gets hot it makes the sealant rubbery and easier to work with.
oh sweet...how long do u bake em for? and i see its at 205º? and also...i think my head lights are plastic...i know they make glass ones too...mine wouldn't like melt or anything would they?
i baked them at 205 degree's for 20 mins and everything went fine. although i did lose all the skin on my knuckle due to rough edges on the headlight assembly.
I did my lights and corners at 250 for 6 minutes.
popped right apart. WOOOOO
just make sure you get all that ford adhesive out of the light fixture before it cools, or you'll have a hard time getting it out completely and might not get a good seal when you put the light back together.
