hmm not bad.. as for color matching, yeah um sonic blue metalic pearl is expensive!! which is the unfortunate part. also its my only mode of trans until my 5.0 ranger is done..

youd think that you could get close in a spray bomb but nothing is even close ( i went as far as calling some people i used to order paint from when i was into graf and tagging..) ive been through about 15 colors on my throttle body cover and the closest thing i came to was krylon metalics or whatever in blue and its still about 4 to 5 shades

I want that stx grille. Damn those are sick!

Usually you can order your color code in an aerosol canfrom any finish place or from ford direct.

trepaul: thanks for the tip! i shall try that route, maybe not for the headligts but i was looking to paint interior pieces to color match so that with a little krylon fusion as a base and some clear i should be good to go ..

I know there's a place called industrial finished that can take any paint code and put it in an aerosol can.

I think you should do the headlights... Someone around here did it and it looked so good!

The blue looks like too much. Cool idea int heory, but not so good in application.

Go for the black.

see im what you call lazy, i work on vehicles and equipment all day in the air force, so when it comes to doing stuff to the ranger i tend to go the easy way. Also i would like to keep the stockers just incase i ever have to register my truck in a state like DE.
