i did my truck with it... NO... the "scratch resistant" one is *decent* but it will turn purple.. its actually the tint on my truck now.. in about what 1 month i am gonna get it all taken off and going to the local tint shop... also it doesnt seem to want to hold very well.. at the top of the doors it wanted to start to peel so i had to cut it back more.....

i did mine with gila tint from auto zone....
my brother in-laws friend who wons a tint shop said that it was the best home tint job he had ever seen
i went with 2% and took alot of time to prep the truck.....had it on my truck for 2 years..no fade and still looks just as good as the day i put it in.
so YMMV bc or the install you do

This topic is posted everywhere, and people have differing opinions.
I bought the walmart stuff, and have had it on my truck since fall, and so far its good.
I felt like trying tinting myself, so i went for it.
But if you get it professionally done, most places offer a lifetime warranty on it, and normally takes them 1hr or so, where it will take someone inexperienced (like me) a few hrs.
