Ugh. It's been 4 days since the package left Ontario, California and it hasn't had any other tracking information after that. I realize it's ground shipping but I've never had it take this long. Good thing I got insurance.

Can anyone post some pictures of a 6000k kit in high mode if they have a kit with hi or low? Or even just low beam kits.

How about a picture showing the light hitting the ground? Those pics don't show much beside big glare.

Ahh nice. I think I'll like the light output. I have silverstar's right now but they're probably a year and half old so light output has diminished, but I really want something that lights up the road nice and I think this HID conversion will.

Those are interesting. I really don't see the point of a dual HID setup though. Tell us how they work when you get them. I would like to see the difference between the two beams.

Well Shawna, you should come over to the Michigan meet and we'll have a chat.

But really, I haven't even received these yet, so I don't really know how they perform. They're scheduled for delivery tomorrow (1/15) so I should have them installed within an hour or two of receiving them.

Well they're scheduled for delivery tomorrow 1/15/09 so hopefully they'll come in the morning and I'll have it all buttoned up by sun down.

Once they're in and I get pictures I'll update the original post with pictures of the install and whatnot.

For those with the single beams and inspections.. why not swap the bulb for inspections.. takes what 10 mins tops. lol.

or wire some HID offroad lights behind the grille into your highs =]

I think I already don't like this kit as much as I had hoped. The way the "bulb" is designed each HID is side by side in the housing so the brights don't really do that much different than the normal. I might try turning the bulb around to see if I can get them up and down but who knows.

Also, my kit glares like an SOB. Does anyone know what bolt to turn to adjust them down? If you were looking at the headlight from the front on the driver's side, would it be the bolt on the top left corner?

The pictures should be in the first post. I didn't get any night pictures because the temperature was around -15.

I had Silverstar Ultra's right before I installed these. Light output is no contest. The HID's blow them away. Granted I've had these for a day, but I haven't had any problem thus far and they worked properly the first time I turned them on.

But didn't you have the telescopic one's with the solenoid that physically moved the bulb? At least with the kit I have there aren't any moving parts. So basically either the ballast will go bad or the bulb.

yeah I had movable parts... but they quality of most of those are really fragile, shake them too much and they die... :-( Hopefully your kit will be much better
