No pics, but do 6k heads and fogs. All the ricers have yellow fogs. I had some and thought they were gay so I took them out shortly after.

Some say that...I have driven a STi with 3k in the fogs and couldn't see any better then with my 6500k in the rain/fog.

I agree. If I ever put HIDs on the 150 which I doubt I will it will be a 4300 or 5000 kit. Even 6000 looks too blue IMO, I think it depends what kit you go with though.

4300k is the whitest and brightest. The more you go up in temp, the more you go down in intensity.

not diggin the fogs...but kinda am diggin' the fogs. i think they're screaming for black-n-white attention.

12000k heads light up the ground pretty darn good...not as good as my pair of 6000k's or 4300k's. Perfect for if you want color in the summer. Richer blue w/ purple mixed in. Fogs are pink as hell.

But ended up really liking the 12000k in the heads. i was after a purpleish tint to match the truck and it does it. the pics dont do justice. 30000k is still putting down about 1.5 times more light output then halogens...6000k is putting out 3 times more light output than halogen.

I'm gonna dig this back up, I haven't dug through the chevy forum yet.. But just to clarify, 4300 is as white as they get before going blue? I want white, possibly with a hint of blue, but nothing much.

Everyone's camera is obviously setup differently so you can't really tell in some of the pictures. some of the 5k's look more blue than the 6500s.

I just went from wanting 4300 to 6. I dont want the yellow hue that a normal halogen puts off.

I actually prefer the 4300k's. They appear halogen like having a hue of yellow, but alot whiter.

Still havn't a clue how the hell I got that picture from my point and shoot. lol. Never been able to duplicate that shot ever since.
