Thanks Tre! that really helps. Definitly make that a sticky topic somehow.

I think I am going to run the 4300k.
Now the HID kit is just a box I install behind my stock lights correct? and change out bulbs? and how much does a set cost roughly?

How did you get the even beam pattern? Im got 6000k in my truck and the light is all over the place.

I did nothing to the factory housings. I aimed them properly, and that's what i've got. lol.

Humm.. You didnt put bulbs in a certain way or anything else huh.. I will try and aim again , maybe get lucky this time. Thanks

EDIT: Trent... Sylvania actually stated that their SilverStars were 4300K... that's from what I remember from a couple years ago.

4300k will be your brightest. I went with 6000k and am very happy.

I've got 3000k fogs and 5000k headlights. Love 'em. Now my grandmother wants a set in her Exploder.

When you order the HID's get a relay kit. I still need one for my fogs.

6K is a nice color, I just dont see why people run different colors in the fogs for. I would have them the same.
