How do I know what tint my windows have?

Looking for a replacement piece of glass for my truck and apparently there's options on glass tint such as privacy or greeen tint. Since I'll be purchasing from ebay, is there a way to tell for sure which I have?

Is your window dark or is it relatively clear?

its clear. I didn't realize some of the factory windows came tinted that dark, just assumed they would have a slight tint to them. Everything I'm seeing on ebay is tinted :/

I dunno but both the dealer and aftermarket glass companies want $300 just for that small piece of glass on the rear door. At that rate I could get both sides and the rear window used on ebay lol

That is an option and then you could just have them all tinted!

if you want to know the tint percentage go to your local police station and ask if they can scan the tint on your windows.

I agree, just swap it all for the cost of the one piece. That way it all matches.
