the flairside should be the same as style side.

there are 2 screws on the light on the outside of the truck that need to come out. Then you have to open your tailgate and there are 2 more screws pointing in towards the light. Thoes need to come out. Its really simple but if you need a pic, let me no.

Did u order aftermarket tail lights? If so i would suggest doing a little more than just screwing them in after u replace the stock ones. U dont want to have them stolen.

No I am nightshading the stock ones, pics are nice, if you got a pic handy of the 2 screws in the bed that would be great, I am thinking I have to cut up the spray in liner.

The bed liner is not hard to cut with a razor, and it does not seem to stick to any bolts. I cut around the bed bolts to do the body lift it came off pretty easy and they are going to re-spray it for free so oh well.

thanks for the pics.

Hey what kind of aftermarket lights do you have ? I didn't think their were many for flaresides.

Andy, Instead of using regular screws or whatever use torques screws. there was a forum on here not to long ago about people getting the lights stolen.

no problem with the pics. As for the tail lights they are ALTEZZA G4 euro tail lights while they dont make them for stepsides and dremel and a steady hand and they work just need to mod the key holes

You can pick some up here - http://www.aaronssecurityscrews.com/ - but there are wicked expensive! 30 bucks for 10 of them there. Other than that, I'm not sure where to get them, maybe a Home Depot, Lowes, or True Value hardware store may have them...

I am keeping mine stock, I am not concerned with someone stealing my taillights, but are just going to be stock ones with nightshade so I don't think i am a target.

I was thinking about this, I have a soft bed cover, I think getting a tailgate lock is a bad idea. I think if I had one and someone wanted to steal something out of my bed they would just cut my cover and maybe mess my truck up for the hassel, but with out one and someone wanted to steal out of my bed I would hope they would take what they want and not mess my truck up. But I have never heard anyone around me say someone took something out of their truck so it really should not matter.
