How to fill holes in roof ?
The previous owner of my b4000 used self tapping screws to secure a stainless steel sun visor to the cab, it was fine for awhile after I purchased it but now it makes wind noise and rattles when at highway speed , if I remove how do I fill the holes such that they wont leak/ look awful? Thanks for the advice
Not much you can do
Pull out the screws remove the part and put the screws back in with silicone sealer, replace with stainless steel screws if they aren't or are too long
You could try to paint match the screw heads

Don't just use a dab of silicone with a screw. Silicone was never designed for outdoor use and will deteriorate and you'll have leaks again.
There are specialized caulk with silicone added and these are OK. Just don't use the standard pure silicone.
Now, to do it right, you would have to take the area around each hole down to bare metal and have a body shop weld up each hole, grind it down and use filler/primer/paint.
Easy way would be to drop the headliner, see if there's access to the holes from inside. If access is there, clean area around each hole down to bare metal, and use a small fiberglass patch covering each hole. You could even use a small piece of metal like aluminum the size of a quarter, and epoxy it on the inside to cover the hole. Than you can sand/fill/paint the outside to fill the holes.

Make a stainless steel angle plate and install in the same holes. Paint 'Mars Lights' like that of a cop car.
I stuck some red & blue marker lights on by Goldwing's dash, not wired, & most cage'rs pulled over to the next lane & let me by.![104[1]](https://www.ranger-forums.com/rf/forum2/images/smilies/104[1].gif)
