Can you fix the damage yourself? If so, pay what you think is fair. If not, I'd pass.

I think he'd go for 75, I mean unless some professional body and paint guy is looking to put one one his truck no one is going to want to pay 100 then materials then spend their time hoping for the best outcome and still have to get it painted

If it as a whole doesn't need repainted then it seems like a lot of work. I mean fiberglassing is a 20$ learning experience but repainting hood needs to be added to the cost.

I'd rather find a white one and buy it brand new. But hmm, if you want a project then go ahead.

I paid $75 for mine with almost identical damage. Custom paint and bodywork was a bit more though!

i'd pass, if you tried to do the work yourself and mess it up worse, now your out $75-100 with a hood you'd have to take a loss on to someone who knows what they are doing.

Shipping hoods is a no-no, time and time again ive seen peopel try to ship them, and no matter how well you pack it up - theres always corenr chipping and big issues with it. They are so large you have to freight it.. because UPS/USPS/FedEX wont touch it with the size issues...

Best to jsut hit up a junk yard and scour for somethign thats in really good condition for a couple hundred!

Biggest problem with fiber hoods is the layering of the mats.
If you haven’t work on glass before then don’t do it and use the thoughts from above, wait until you find one closer and if necessary pay the price for one not damaged.
