How much is this truck worth to you and would you buy it?

I am posting this up for Firefighterjosh, not me. He is wanting something to take out and basically beat the crap out of and jump it. So dunes, trails, etc...

It was built by a local off-road shop about 10-12 years ago for tough truck competitions.

I want to know your opinion on it.
I also want to know what you think is stock and what is not on it.

(I already have my own opinion about it but I want to see what everyone else has to say)

I think it needs some king coilovers in the front and the back and then it would mobb.

Acutally, the whole thing needs to be re-done.
I wouldn't pay more then 1k for it.

im sorry....but that thing just scares me, idk if some people have experience with the TTB front end on here, but everything on that truck was done incorrectly on the front end, the steering angles are crookeder then a politician,

im not at all impressed with the truck, i agree with the 2k tops......

and beleive it or not, most parts on that truck are stock, it isnt lifted but maybe 2", stock drop brackets, stock rears, stock steering.......

I think a bunch of the suspension is stock as well.

What about the beams? Are they different from stock? I know nothing about TTB

it looks realy stock with some tube work to accentuate. I probably wouldnt buy it unless it was cheap enough to make my money back in steel, but I dont live near sand dunes.

I just want to point out how much slack is left on the limiting strap even when its standing at ride height

A few grand, maybe. It's been used and beat to death. I'm not sure what I'd offer.

The beams don't look stock to me. My Supervisor has a 87 and it looks exactly the same. I wouldn't even THINK of buying that. You can find so many better deals!

yea it looks like stock drop brackets so the only lift is in the bend of the beams.

For 5000 I would buy another gen II and get the full Camburg or Autofab kit for it and build my own. That way you know the work done was done right, it wasn't abused, and it would still end up cheaper.

I would never, NEVER pay 5 G's for that! Not worth the time and trouble spent repairing stuff. Too much rust in the undercarriage, and except for the Tube work, there really isn't enough here to warrant paying more than 2G's and that is even pushing it in my book!

I got my 95 Supercab 4.0L lifted on 4" Sus. / 3" B.L., with 35" Pitbulls for $4200. That truck is extremely over priced!!!!
