My baby got a new smile!!

I really like the look of the '04-'05 grilles, but knew there was no way I could get one to fit my truck without doing a complete front end swap, so I did the next best thing. I took off the original grille and cut out the horizontal cross bars and installed a honeycomb grille insert from an '03. I think it turned out pretty good. A couple of hours with a dremel and a few coats of black paint was all it took.

Let me know what you think!!

Thanks guys, appreciate it. I drilled several tiny holes in the back of the original grille and used some small guage wire to hold the insert in place. Pretty much had to paint it cuz of the dremeling. It left a few ugly spots where I had to grind the original grille down so the insert would seat properly.

Looks great! However didn't they make a grill that style for those years that did not have the two extra chrome bars in the middle, you know an open style like the 04-05s. I thought I seen a grill that style with a billit insert like mine, meaning the center had to of had no bars.
